This is a tiny store that packs a big flavor punch and is one of the few places in Japan where I've gotten to eat real, homemade bread with a good crust. It's a perfect pair with their borscht or as the base of their French toast. They also grow their own vegetables and herbs in a nearby field! We got to watch the chef harvest the rosemary shed later use in our food! Definitely going back as soon as I can!

Homemade bread. Rich, full-flavor coffee. A cozy and inviting atmosphere. A delightful selection of locally-sourced, sweet and savory Baltic-inspired cuisine. What more could you ask for? I adore this cafe. The staff are so friendly, and I can feel the love for Latvian culture and handmade crafts every time I visit. I highly recommend the Borscht and the Apple, Honey, and Sour Cream Toast. I hope you'll try this hidden gem in Kashihara!
